Gabriel Bouchet

Gabriel Bouchet followed his musical studies at the conservatory of Mulhouse, where he won first prize in piano, harmony and music theory.
Percussionnist solo from Radio Orchestra of Strasbourg  and Philharmonic Orchestra of Strasbourg, he his one of the precursors of French contemporary percussion.

Member of Percussions de Strasbourg from 1963 to 1988 he was co-author of learning method "Percustra", director of the Ecole des Percussions de Strasbourg and professor of percussion at the Ecole Nationale de Musique de Mulhouse.
