François Rossé : Born in Alsace in 1945, studied piano at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (classes of writing, analysis and composition with Olivier Messiaen). Professor of musical analysis at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux (1974-1985), he obtained, in this context, a 2nd prize at the National Competition «Music and Computer», chaired by Iannis Xenakis. In 1994, he has won the International Competition organized by the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin for his work "Cseallox" for cello and saxophone, he also obtained the National Prize of the SACEM 1994 "Claude Arrieu" for all its production. In 1991 he was appointed Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and "Aligot Maistre taster"of the Amicale des Cantalès and Buronniers Monts d'Aubrac. In 1999 he was awarded the International Composition Competition "Aperto" in Bucharest for his work "Rheinsam" (clarinet, viola and piano). The work "Antonio por casualidad" was selected on the international level and played by the Shanghai New Ensemble under the International Week of Contemporary Music in Hong Kong in 2002, his work "Schraubsam" has been selected by SIMC at the national level.

    
In 2002, the repertoire is in more than 400 units in a wide variety of genres (soloist, chamber, mixed works, symphonic, vocal, choral, specific training, spatializations, urban sites...). Twenty works are recorded by Radio-France (and foreign radio stations). He has collaborated with many ensembles such as the Parisian ensembles "2e2m", and the "ensemble l’Itinéraire", "Proxima Centauri"of Bordeaux, "Oh ton" of Oldenburg (Germany), "Musica Oggi" Lugano, Ensemble "Ars Nova", the whole "Area mus.
